Tether Hires Trump's Former Crypto Advisor

Tether brought on Bo Hines as strategic advisor. He just stepped down from being Trump's crypto advisor and helped write the GENIUS Act that created America's stablecoin framework.

Tether's USDT has a $167 billion market cap versus Circle's $68 billion USDC. They're planning a new domestic stablecoin for the U.S. market by late 2025.
