The pie charts below provide information on the ages of the populations of two countries : Yemen and Italy in 2000 and with predictions for 2050.

Overall, both charts consist of three age groups that different in design. The first age group is 0-14 years and it is shown as black lines on white background. The second one is 15-59 years and it is presented as black colour. The third age group is people at age over 60 years and this one is illustrated as white colour.

The population of Yemen in 2000 was mainly consisted of people at age from 0 to 14(50.1%). With the difference only at 3.8% there is people at age from 15 to 59 years. The smallest part of the chart belongs to people at age over 60 years (3.6%). It is predicted that in 2050 Yemen's population will change and the biggest part of the chart will be taken by people at age from 15 to 59. Moreover, percentage of people whi are over 60 will increase till 5.7%. However, the number of individuals at age from 0 to 14 will decrease for 13.1% and will show 37.0%.

More than a half (61.6%) of the chart of Italy in 2000 belongs to people at age from 15 to 59. Almost three times fewer people belong to the age group over 60 years (24.1%). The smallest part (14.3%) is taken by youngest group. The prediction to 2050 shows that the number of people at age from 0 to 14 will go up till 42.3%, but the number of people at age from 15 to 59 will decrease till 46.2%. Next group's percentage will also go down for 2.8% and show 11.5%.
