In many countries , children are often told and motivated by parents that they can achieve all of their goals if they try hard . There are numerous advantages of it . However , telling such words is not without its disadvantages . This essay will examine both sides of the view .

The first thing that needs to be said is that words like ‘’you can do everything if you work hard’’ extremely motivate people , especially children . Moreover , they increase children’s confidence . As a result , children will not have a problem with their self-confidence in the future . Additionally , I can say that after hearing such kind of words children will not afraid of doing something . Because they will be confident that their hard work is going to give a significantly good result .Therefore , we can say that giving children this massage has a big list of benefits .

On the other hand , it would be unfair not to mention the drawbacks of it . First of all , it may be really hard for children to fail if they often were given that message . Also , failures might break their future aspiration to success in their life . Furthermore , one should not be forgotten is that children are able to become over-arrogant . It would led to another serious problems . Thus , it is generally agreed among many people today that giving this massage is not a beneficial thing .

To draw the conclusion , I can say that there are both advantages and disadvantages of telling that words to children . However , I am convinced that advantages of it outweigh its disadvantages . All people should tell , support and motivate their children by these words .
