We place our first bet in Azuro. Step by step guide.

Today I would like to talk about one interesting project called Azuro, namely, to tell all the actions in which we can participate and earn money. First of all, what is Azuro?

In simple terms, Azuro is a decentralized betting protocol that allows you to bet on sporting events. I’m sure you’ve ever heard of, and maybe even bet on sports, so you’re familiar with it, but Azuro is a new level and, probably, the future.

In this article I will not tell you about investments, volumes and number of users. We will do this in the next article, but today we will learn and place our first bet to receive quick and future rewards.

Our actions:

First of all, we must prepare our MetaMask wallet. We will work on the Gnosis or Polygon networks, since these are the most convenient and cheapest networks, but if you choose between them, then of course Gnosis (if you don’t know how to make a deposit the Gnosis network, write in the comments, I will be happy to help, or just use Li.Fi Jumper). Deposits are made in the native XDAI token.

The deposit amount can vary from 1 Dai to 100 Dai, catering to both larger and smaller banks. After successfully replenishing your wallet, follow the link and connect the wallet.

After successful connection, we need to transfer our funds specifically to the Bookmaker platform; to do this, do as shown in the screenshot below.

After clicking the Convert button, select the amount you want to deposit on the site and click the Convert XDAI to WXDAI button.

Congratulations, you have successfully funded your internal wallet. Now let's move on to selecting events. If you will be working on the Polygon network, then prepare USDT in advance or simply exchange it on the Bookmaker platform itself in the funding section.

Now, let's move on to event selection. To do this, select the Sports section in the upper left corner, then select the sport you want to bet on (in my case, Basketball) and you will see a list of upcoming matches. After selecting, click More markets to get a detailed view at the match and what outcomes are offered for it.

I’ll say right away that there are not as many outcomes as at a regular bookmaker’s website, but the team promises to add Live bets in the future, as well as expand the line of different outcomes.

In the screenshot below, you can see the standard outcomes for the match (I won’t talk about each in more detail, but if you ask, then of course I will write it for you). Our goal is to select a prediction that we think should happen and place a bet. I predicted that both teams would score more than 227.5 points, namely, two teams will score 228 points or more (the odds for this are 1.81), then you need to write the amount you want to bet, click on Place Bet and confirm the transaction in MetaMask.

Congratulations, you have made your first bet and now by going to your profile (upper left corner My Bets) you can look at your bet.

After the match is over, after some time (not immediately) your bet will be calculated and you must claim your winnings if you win (Redeem all). If you lose, you don't need to do anything.

You can track the bet yourself or connect the Telegram bot and wait for a notification on your phone. Bot only sends singles, but not expresses (Combo), but I’ll introduce you to Combo in the next article, if you like this format.
At the time of writing, this event had not yet started, so below I will show you an old bet that went through and how to claim your winnings.

This is just a small portion of what I wanted to share with you, in the following articles I would like to tell you in more detail about Combo bets (express bets) and about user activity on the platform itself (what volumes, number of bets and much more).
