Сегодня мы окунёмся в атмосферу Германии, поговорим с подружкой немкой Ланой и получим ответы на интересные вопросы.

Какой самый популярный праздник в Германии? Все дружно скажут — Oktoberfest! Это праздник живота: там собираются люди, которые людят пить пиво и есть немецкие колбаски. Любят ли этот праздник сами немцы?🤔

А что думаете о парнях из Германии? Они кажутся такими замкнутыми и серьёзными... Так ли это?🤓

Myth: Germans’ favorite food is sausages and favorite drink is beer?
Truth: Upfront: I was born and raised in the beautiful northern part of Germany. The cultural prejudice of “sausages and beer” is a picture mostly characterized by Bavaria and the Oktoberfest. We in northern Germany always believe that Bavaria is more Austria than Germany🙃
But apart from that will you never be invited to a party without good beer. Our favorite evening event after work is definitely a Feierabendbierchen (“evening beer”). Everybody has their own favorite beer brand, which means discussing, if the party host has the right beer brand, is always a fixed component.
And not to forget: beer is just the perfect drink for our beloved barbecue!

Myth: Germans are very tidy, and they like to plan everything.
Truth: Yes, I would say this actually accounts for most Germans. We have saying which would be translated as something like “we clean even under the couch when our cleaning lady comes”.

Myth: German guys don’t make the first step.
Truth: Well, I’m very interested where this prejudice comes from ‘cause that is really not true. I would even be so bold to say that it’s the opposite. We always brag about our feminism but when it comes to dating, we still like the boys to make the first step☺️
