Биография на английском (на русском не нашел): Lars Skinnebach, born in 1973 in Galten, Denmark. He attended the Danish Academy of Creative Writing (Forfatterskolen), 1994-1996. His first book, a collection of poems, The smallest paradise (Det mindste paradis) was published in 2000 by Gyldendal. It was followed by Tomorrow the systems will exist again 2004, and You addict in 2006. In 2001 his book of essays or thematic stories appeared Patriotic love was driving force, co-written with Jeppe Brixvold, Lars Frost and Pablo Llambias. His significant collection of poems is Every meaning and wrong sound from 2009. He recorded the CD with this poetry book along with the band Little Red Suitcase in 2010.
He was an editor of the Danish literary magazine Blue gate from 2003 to 2005, and recently he has been mainly dealing with teaching new literary talents. Besides literary, he is interested in music (he plays the saxophone).
His poetry is characterised by fragmentation and eccentric expression, experimentation with forms and styles, wordplay, ambiguity and overcoming all sorts of limitations (especially those imposed by the genre).
He recieved Rifbjerg debut award of Danish academy in 2004, Literary legacy of publishing house Gyldendal in 2005, Montana literary award in 2010.
Lars Skinnebach's lyrics represents rebelious engagement in sensuous registration of dark sides of state of wellfare and its fragility.
