Motion Design Course (Stage 2) Previsualization and Blocking

Hello. My name is Dmitry and I live in Belarus, in Minsk. A truly historic situation has now emerged here, when all civil society has united to change the situation in our country.

As a conscientious citizen of this country, I also want the government to finally change and give way to new positive changes. We all see who is currently rule the country and what motives these people have.

Alongside these events, I decided to enroll in a 3D motion design course. I had been planning it for a long time and thinking about the topic of my video, I thought that it would be very cool to do the work dedicated to the elections in our country. Then I began to reflect on the concept of the future video and think how and what I generally want to show in it.

It was necessary to sensibly correlate my imagination and the possibilities of the program in which I will work. Our time is limited and we should spend it wisely.

After doing polls in some groups, I came up with certain general subjects that people would like to see in the video. These were images of a prison, a cockroach, a wrw flag, a heart and etc.

I had to redo the concept several times, which is why I wasted a lot of time.

The point of the video is to show in 20 seconds the struggle between the old government, which has seized the country and the new government, which wants positive changes.

Since the topic is quite abstract, it was very difficult to decide on some main subject in the video. In fact, there are several of them, and they all symbolize an uprising against the old regime. For the final shot, I decided to put the community logo in the "NEXTA" telegram. I chose this group because they are one of those people and communities that coordinate the actions of people and make a very significant contribution to the overthrow of the dictatorship.

I also go to rallies and am very indignant at all the lawlessness that the authorities, headed by Lukashenka, have arranged in the country. With my creativity, I want to support Belarusians and at least for a short time inspire them and show that our attempts are not in vain and we will definitely win. The thought that I can do something dedicated to these events is very inspiring to me. Although it is very difficult to complete the course, I really want to go to the end and make my work of the highest quality.
