Backcraft-25w32a Changelog
Hello everyone! New snapshot Backcraft-25w32a is out, related to update a|0.2! Let's go!
Changes:
1) Added Level 375 "The Potato Fields":
- It is a vast field planted with potatoes, with rare trees, watered by eternal rain
- And when I said "vast" - I was still hasty, because this is now the largest level in Backcraft with a size of 600*600 blocks! (by the way, because of this, the snapshot weighs 45 megabytes, when the previous version weighed less than 15)
- One house was built in the field, where someone once lived, but now it is empty. In general, this is a good place for a base in the territory of the Backrooms Levels
- There are no Entities or Boxes here
- The entrance and exit are reduced to one door on Level 3, framed by a wooden frame
- For the sake of optimization, the Level becomes a Potato Field only when the player is in it. If the player enters the Level, the potatoes and fields are built right during the transition [which causes BaCr-36] and the same thing vice versa.
Comment: "The idea to "make this Level" came spontaneously when another map maker, also making Backrooms, said that my Levels were small. I went to Wikidot, saw an article about this Level, and decided to implement this Level in Minecraft"
2) Added Level 0.1 "Zenith Station":
- It is a futuristic space station that suddenly grew up in the vastness of Level 0
- The floor is made of Quartz, the walls are made of Iron Blocks and Smooth Deepshale, the ceiling is made of Smooth Stone, and there is almost no lighting
- There are no Entities or Crates here
- Level 0.1 is similar in size to Level 0
- The entrance on Level 0 is to find the door to Zenith. The exit to Level 1 is to noclip into one of the walls
3) Other Changes:
- Level 1 has been simplified in terms of command component
- When Amarok, all entities now die, all Levels fade away and your inventory is clearing =)
- Ending Fix has been removed
Bugs:
1) Major Fixes:
• BaCr-33 - Dialogue with Trading Vault Guards did not start due to ignoring the *night* scoreboard, which was equal to 1, when entering Level 1
• BaCr-34 - Trading Vault did not activate when entering Level 1
• BaCr-32 - Amarok does not disable Level functions and does not kill Entities
• BaCr-35 - *timer3* scoreboard for Whiteout did not erase and continued to work when entering Blackout
2) Fix related to 25w32: • BaCr-37 - Grass Block was not replaced with Farmland when entering Level 375
3) Known Bug:
• BaCr-36 - transition to Level 375 occurs with a lags
