Your Role and Responsibilities

Primarily the role is focused on identifying and developing new opportunities from existing clients:

  • understand and capture clients’ needs and requirements and translate into IBM software offerings to enable the attainment of client’s objectives
  • propose and demonstrate value of Cloud & Cognitive Unit offerings to clients

You will manage your own sales opportunities and build up key relationships by understanding the client’s needs, organization and culture. This will allow you to develop clear and prioritized engagement plans to address various stakeholders within client’s Line-of-Business and IT organizations in order to achieve overall revenue objectives.

The ideal candidate comes with a strong sales mindset and loves to engage with clients to understand their hybrid cloud challenges and how IBM’s Automation Portfolio can help to create business value. An understanding and self-driven enthusiasm to sell use cases is an advantage. Anticipation of various client situations, readiness to learn & adapt in a fast-moving market segment is expected in this sales role.
As a client-facing, sales professional, you will be guided by IBM’s purpose – to be essential to its clients; help them grow their businesses by solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM’s proven Cloud & Cognitive software.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Skills in managed services particularly in IaaS, PaaS Cloud solutions across different vendors. Deep understanding of the Hybrid and Multicloud Story.
  • Advanced Negotiation skills and strong capability to create business cases
  • Base skills in IT Consulting & IT Architecture
  • Deep market know-how and customer insights
  • Fluent in English, Russian languages
