Key Activities & Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate support for reporting of monthly financial statements to HQ Russian Legal entity
Process the local payments and ensure the process is in line with the latest policies regarding payments
Monitor the local Vendor master file
Day-to-day functional responsibility for accounting/tax areas such as general ledger management (expenses), accounts payable and other
Aware of changes in local tax, e-invoicing, accounting regulations and labor issue updates and existing processes and procedures accordingly
Support and liaison with internal and external auditors and tax authorities. Supports in the representation of Stryker at social security office and other public organizations
Support the Finance manager of monthly, quarterly and annual statutory tax declarations, returns and statements, Month-end closure support on appropriate areas (including reconciliations)
Work closely with Compliance officer to keep company compliant within internal Stryker Compliance program and external requirements

Education

Essential:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Advanced degree/certification in accounting is preferred like CPA

Desired:

Background in Accounting Finance team

Experience

Essential:

+2 years’ experience working within a Finance team within Country
Knowledge of local accounting procedures and country legislation
Good Communicator
Good Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Ability to solve problems and find solutions

Keen to learn and develop
Ability to meet deadlines

High ethical standards and integrity

Desirable:

Working in medical device industry (Stryker experience is a plus) with knowledge of Business Acumen
ERP (Oracle, MFG Pro, 1С preferred)
