Minimum qualifications:

• ACCA, DipIFR or CPA certification (achieved or in-progress).
• Experience with revenue accounting/billing with a multinational or Russian company.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Russian fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of local accounting principles and tax rules.
• Demonstrated problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage a diverse workload while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Commitment to continuous process improvement with outstanding attention to detail.
• Team player, demonstrating a drive for results with negotiating skills.
• Experience with billing/revenue matters, data analysis and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of all processes related to local revenue, including month-end close, deferred revenue, output VAT, accounts receivable, transfer pricing, incentives, cash receipts, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to set up scalable and repeatable processes to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and streamline billing process, partner with the systems team and other upstream stakeholders on revenue/billing matters.
• Monitor and report legislative and regulatory changes related to local billing processes, cash collection, revenue recognition, etc, act as a subject matter expert on local revenue/billing matters.
• Manage relationship with local vendors supporting local finance function, e-invoicing and other local finance activities.
• Analyze and action on the requests from cross-functional teams on complex revenue/billing issues.
