Primary Job Function:

Make data a strategic asset for the enterprise by providing a platform that enables the structuring, management, integration, control, discovery, usage, and governance of our Data Assets.

Essential Duties & responsibilties

Own and drive initiatives to completion in alignment with the enterprise data
Contribute to the effort of defining enterprise data strategy
Own the delivery of data analytics solutions, driving the strategy, tools and workflows for analysis, data management and insights generation.
Creates processes and implements governance models around BI systems and data. Factors in operational simplicity, resiliency, and efficiency into their recommendations and act as a "hands on"¤ technologist, being able to both outline the architecture and clearly articulate/design complex data solutions. This role also provides consultation and solutions for complex projects.
Manages BI DataWarehouse & Visual reporting systems. Responsible for ensuring our warehouse and business intelligence tool has the most current, accurate and relevant data possible for our internal customers and determines and recommends enhancements to the BI platforms for performance improvement.
Creates process/data flow maps of links between systems, current processes, areas of opportunity to improve process flows and new systems to integrate.

Qualifications

Understand the competitive landscape and both general and industry trends - this includes local movements in Data Warehousing, Visualization, and Infrastructure platforms to inform product strategies, and roadmaps
Strong experience with ETL development, data modeling, data warehousing, SQL, QlikSense/Power BI, and databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets;
Proactive and self-directed thought leader.
Does not sacrifice long-term vision for short-term gains.
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive, professional, and productive. business relationships with business users.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and produce tangible results.
English: upper-intermediate
