Implementation of portfolio planning in discussion with Marketing, Medical and Regulatory teams
Find sources, evaluate and bring products with high entry barriers, technologically difficult and challenging to replicate, products with added value etc.
- Lease with local marketing teams, doctors, KOLs to generate new product ideas
- To manage complete market assessment of chosen project including Regulatory, Clinical, Commercial, Intellectual Property (IP), Marketing and other before finalizing the same
- Develop a long range plan for Russia together with marketing and finance teams
- Licensing & Acquisition (L&A) deals:
- Identify opportunities through regular interface with companies
- Identify opportunities through regular interface with M&A consultants / PE Firms
- Compare various commercial offers
- Initiate and co-ordinate Due Diligence of Regulatory, Medical, IP, Quality Assurance (QA), MS&T etc.
- Initiate investigation the opportunity on the ground – KOL interviews / Pharmacy interviews / Distributor interviews
- Co-ordinate steps with partner
- Business case preparation and discussion
- Closure of deal
- MAKE (In-House Development) of products, where possible, in discussion with global teams, Marketing, Medical and Regulatory teams:
- Regulatory Strategy / Clinical Strategy to be drawn in discussion with the technical teams
- Business case to be prepared and finalized in discussion with Marketing
- To identify New Therapies / segments entry in discussion with Marketing and global teams:
- To identify new therapy areas for entry / new segment for entry in markets
- To identify the product portfolio
- To ensure the Top line estimations, P&L etc.
- Approval with SD Director
- Close out agreed minimum number of deals with quick to market opportunities plugging gap in portfolio
- Ongoing dialogue with outcomes for each stakeholder
- Successful Closure with 3 year launch plan
- P&L responsibility
- Education: university degree (Pharmacy/Medical Sciences, Financial, Business or Economic (MBA) are preferable)
- 1 - 3 years in Business Development/ Strategy/ Portfolio Planning Role/Marketing
- Strong business acumen
- Analytical thinking
- Interpersonal skills
- High results orientation with attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Creativity
- Excellent skills of database management, proficiency with common program management communication software tools (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, MS Word and Excel) and techniques (i.e. plans, schedules, presentations, etc.).
- Fluent in business English
- Ability to work in cross functional and international environment
