Market Insights Manager в Hewlett Packard
Responsibilities:
- Become the foremost expert on customer/consumer insights for the Market.
- Liaise with internal partners to identify specific business problems and develop ideas;
- Manage end-to-end primary research projects with agencies, coordinating the activities and contributions of all stakeholders to inform and support the definition of associated action plans, developing a close engagement and partnership with them;
- Translate research data and key findings into insights that drive marketing and sales strategies, approaches and plans.
- Find an 'angle' on a specific product or service on which to base an advertising campaign
- Provide the internal teams with information to help build a clear brief that contains concise information on the product, audience and strategy;
- Organize and lead presentation sessions and workshops to share the key learning and insights, and help build action plans. With the account teams, join selected meetings with senior management of strategic channel/e.Tail/retail partners, to share key results and discuss improvement opportunities that enable business growth
- Systematically identify (or create) communication opportunities through proactive probing and ongoing contact.
- Challenge external partners to bring forward innovative ways of generating and using insights (e.g. processes, cross-collaboration research, methodologies)
- Evolve and progressively optimize the reporting, to ensure the key takeaways, insights and recommendations “shine through”, through state of the art visualization of the data, analysis and storytelling for local stakeholders;
- Develop points of view on specific targets to inform Marketing briefs, and PoVs on Key retail accounts to inform retail sales teams.
- Seek out opportunities and emerging trends to proactively provide marketers and Go-to-Market teams with critical information and insights.
- Monitor market and industry trends, and share best practices with internal clients and external partners
- Drive to make a difference, to have a business impact, to help teams act based on a better understanding of our customers.
Education and Experience Required:
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of work experience in marketing, sales, Insights or market research.
- BS/BA in marketing, business or related field;
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage the execution of market research projects, generate customer and market insights, and tie these insights to actionable business recommendations
- Excellent communications, storytelling, and influencing skills
- Experience in communicating and collaborating with business partners
- Highly proficient with Excel, Power Point and rest of MS Office
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of research vendor management, agency practices and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of research methodologies/ practices.
- Ability to capture, analyze and drive understanding of customer/market and to extrapolate future trends from current information.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Excellent project management and organization skills

- Consultative skills to define key internal stakeholder needs and questions
- Passion for our customers. Natural curiosity about what drives them in their decision-making process.
