EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As Business Development specialist, you will join SAP Labs Managing Director Office team (MD Office) to coordinate various startup ecosystem activities of SAP Labs CIS in a programmatic way. This includes creation and execution of ecosystem development plan, engaging internal and external stakeholders and resources to collaborate with SAP.iO Foundries, SAP.iO Intrapreneurship, global SAP Labs Network, SAP PartnerEdge, SAP NextGen Labs and University Alliance.
You will help to commercialize startup activities of SAP Labs through different channels: SAP Store, Partner Managed Cloud (PMC), IBSO, Partner Engineering Services and Integration&Certification Center (ICC). The project portfolio embraces definition of strategy and tactics in the innovative ecosystem environment and collaboration with numerous state-controlled and private Accelerators and VC Investor clubs and research firms in CIS (e.g., Skolkovo, IIDF, Dsight e.t.c).
The second portfolio pillar for business development includes preparation and pitching of SAP internal business cases for the expansion of SAP Labs CIS in terms of SAP location strategy. The goal of SAP Labs MD Office is to improve and offer internal service functions to Engineering and Support Lines of Businesses at SAP and support investment decisions and growth into new product and technology areas.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of professional work experience, working on projects across business units and a demonstrated success interfacing across multiple division of the organization
Have an extensive understanding, network and direct connections inside SAP
Significant previous work experience and desire to work with the entrepreneurship, startup, accelerator etc. communities.
Deep understanding of SAP Platform offerings: SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP HANA.
Fluent in English.
Excellent communications / presentation skills (oral, written) with ability to present at an executive level.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Computer Science required from an accredited university.
MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
