Responsibilities
• Grow share of Mastercard ‘s business in domestic transfers by developing commercial relationships with key market players (banks, relevant merchants, wallet providers, platform providers)
• Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams
• Development of a Strategic plan to grow Mastercard’s business for all of the above areas including a set of short, medium and long term projects
• Development of an account management relationship with the key players of the Russia domestic transfers to position Mastercard as their main partner for payment solutions
• Analyze customers’ existing business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis
• Identification of key partners to help grow our business in the above areas either by partnership, acquisition or investment
• Identification of new product opportunities and new segments to be addressed (working with Product teams)
• Help prepare for and participate in conversations with key decision makers about product opportunities
and
• Position Mastercard as key spokesman on innovation in local markets via media interviews, conferences etc.
• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified business development opportunities
• Make recommendations to Product teams on how to develop and position any new product developments to make them suitable for the market
• Assists in evaluating the deal process to deliver efficiencies and added improvements
• Supports the execution and management of the customer contract agreement process
• Supports existing business development relationships (e.g., government, regulators, industry bodies)
Experiences
• Strong understanding of the Russia domestic transfers industry, its value chain and economics
• Account management relationship skills for non-banking customers including mobile operators and e-commerce retailers as well as third party platform providers
• Demonstrated success introducing existing and ne/emerging solutions in a specific MasterCard country/region/industry vertical
• High level of enthusiasm for the payment products innovative solutions
• Ability to evangelize the emerging payments opportunity to colleagues and customers
• Experience executing and managing business development strategies for mid-sized countries/regions/industry verticals
• Strong business acumen with the ability to provide creative solutions that drive positive results to both the customer and Mastercard
• Track record in achieving business development targets and building customer relationships through customer sales
- Fluent English
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Senior level presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate technology to business people and business to technology people
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
- Comfortable with uncertainty, changing and fast paced environment
- High energy, can-do attitude, strong desire to succeed
- Leadership skills—must be able to influence others without reporting relationships, lead cross functional teams without direct reporting or management responsibility
