Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to speak and write English and Russian fluently.
Experience with audit and preparing financial statements from accounting practice and/or public multinational tech companies.

Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, DipIFR, or CPA.)
Experience with management of compliance requirements for entities in multiple jurisdictions and understanding of the nuance (government/regulatory/tax/commercial/industrial) of the markets in which this role will operate
Experience of business partnering with strong problem solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives.
Team player who demonstrates drive for results, shows leadership, possesses strong negotiating skills, and works well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing the annual statutory financial statements and tax compliance process, manage the delivery of statistics filings and other compliance requirements.
Support full-scope local compliance for intercompany transactions for several Alphabet entities.
Perform regular in-depth analysis on the financials, ensuring the integrity and financial accuracy of our books and records. Review reconciliations of key balance sheet account balances including relevant reporting for same.
Manage the delivery of accounting processes performed by external vendors ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided.
Represent International Controllership with our business partners through effective communication across a broad network of stakeholders.
