You are responsible for

Create value and impact by delivering meaningful insights by using advanced technologies for analyzing and interpreting large complex data sets.
Execute workflow to prepare and process data, to create hypotheses and validated insights using AI/DL/ML techniques.
Solve business-related problems using data-driven techniques. Elicit scope, purpose and expected minimum quality thresholds for an AI model.
Build new competencies or extend existing ones that have potential to contribute significant value to the business through the application of data science.
Keeps abreast of technical knowledge by studying and implementing state-of-the-art techniques and development tools.

Your team

You are part of Philips AI & Data Science Research Russia. Our mission is to lead Philips into the Digital era through world-class innovations based on AI and data science. The focus of the department is on applying and advancing AI and data science to create key differentiators for Philips products, solutions and services. Our department builds on several interconnected competences including data science, computer vision, natural language processing and machine learning engineering. We use state-of-the art methods, as well as new digital platforms to create innovation for Philips businesses by extracting insights from various sources of healthcare data. The department plays a crucial role in AI, digital and data-intensive research projects using these competencies.

We are looking for

Proven capabilities and hands-on experience in machine (incl. deep) learning;
BSc or MSc in computer science or another relevant area providing good foundation in computer and data science, applied mathematics (including statistics, artificial intelligence, probability theory, etc;
Strong analytical skills, curious, proactive, fast learner able to quickly pick up new areas;
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong personal relationships at all levels, both internal and external to Philips Research;
Team player in multidisciplinary international setting, able to manage uncertainties and adapt quickly;
Experience with tools such as Python, Pytorch, etc.
Experience with high performance / distributed computing is a plus.
