Job Description

Key Subject Matter Requirements:

Providing advice and recommendations across a wide range of subject areas (corporate, advertising/marketing, anti-trust, customer protection, intellectual property, real estate, civil, labor and data privacy legislation)
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, business entity documents, and other legal documentation; performing due diligence of the Company’s counterparties
Assist clients in negotiations with third parties, including contractual negotiations, customer claims and communications with authorities
Legal review of marketing/advertising materials, various communications materials
Coordination (if outside counsel engaged) and support of litigations (arbitration, customer protection law claims) and administrative proceedings, handling of pre-court claims
Advice on labor law matters, data privacy regulations
Supporting and advising on Compliance issues, e.g. FCPA, anti-corruption, Export Compliance matters.
Supporting key Company policies and processes such as the Delegation of Authority, etc.
Interaction and support on other matters within the region where required
Monitoring local laws and likely future legislative, regulatory and other legal developments, and providing updates and recommendations to the Legal and business teams.
Provide advice in the development of legal processes and documents. Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the Legal function

Qualifications, Experience:

A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant legal experience
Knowledge and experience in key legal trends that impact the business
Ability to collaborate, build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others up and down a matrixed organization
Proven ability to establish rapport and participate in an environment of continuous improvement
Strong oral and written communicator
Strong languages skills in Russian and English
Commitment to integrity and quality
Aptitude for critical thinking and succinctly presenting the best course of action
Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Excellent computer skills
Knowledge and understanding of automotive industry environment and business needs is desired
