Reconnect Your Logitech Bluetooth Mouse On PC

Do you want to reconnect your Logitech Bluetooth Mouse on PC? A while back I bought a Logitech MX 1100 wireless mouse. But, after I’ve been using it on my PC every time whenever I pack up to move somewhere I want to unplug the USB receiver stick. As it is with any connector, disconnecting or unplugging it at regular intervals puts a strain on the hardware, and after a few months, my receiver stops working. However, this particular mouse came with a warranty of 3 years, and Logitech sent me the latest one within a week. While that was quite amazing, the old mouse can’t connect to the latest receiver.

If you start working with another or replacement receiver as I am – if you just connect it in the receiver and enable the mouse, that won’t work. After you try to add devices using the control panel, that stops working either. Using these darn mouses, you’re almost going to use Logitech’s custom connection software.

Steps To Reconnect Logitech Bluetooth Mouse On PC:

Follow the steps carefully to reconnect your wireless mouse:

Step 1:

On Windows, you can either use the Keyboard software and SetPoint Logitech Mouse or the Logitech Connection Utility. You can download or install the full SetPoint package from Logitech’s site. Now we’ll look at the stand-alone Connection Utility.

Remember that the connection utility can’t support Mac PC, so if you are executing a Mac you want to install the SetPoint software.

Step 2:

Once you’ve successfully downloaded or installed the Logitech Connection Utility (logitech_connect.exe), then move ahead and then launch it or open the app. Don’t fret– it can’t install anything. Tap the Next button placed on the welcome page, and the tool will tell you to plug-in or connect the latest receiver. After that, you’ll then reach the pairing display screen. It’s quite easy or straightforward. Just disable your mouse and then enable the mouse back. Now, the mouse should be paired with the receiver. But, certainly, this stops work.

Troubleshoot?

In case, when the pairing fails, Logitech recommends that you contact their customer support – but there is more thing you must try first. In the connection utility, move back to the Welcome screen and then tap Advanced. This action brings you to the latest window; here choose Pair a New Device. A pop-up window opens, in fact, it’s quite similar to the regular pairing window but after using this one will create the latest instance of the pairing process.

All done!
