Brush twice a day: It is recommended by the dentists that brush at least twice a day. The best time for brushing is after meals. And select a brush with a small head to clean back teeth properly. Don't brush your teeth too hard or using a hard toothbrush. It can be harmful to tooth enamel and gums. As a result of this, sensitivity, tooth erosion, or damage to teeth can take place.

 

Avoid sugary foods: Always avoid the use of sugary drinks or foods as they generate acids on the tooth surface which cause tooth erosion and decay. 

 

Brush thoroughly: As we know that brushing teeth is necessary to prevent bacteria and plaque on the teeth. But people do not know the appropriate time to clean the teeth. According to the dentist, brush your teeth for 2 to 3 minutes. 

 

Protect your teeth from injury: In order to avoid any injury of teeth, always wear a mouthguard or full-face helmet while playing sports. 

 

Visit your dentist: The regular check-ups of teeth are necessary to avoid any type of dental issue. Thus visit your dentist for regular check-ups and get some ideas to keep your teeth healthy. 

 

Change your toothbrush: Don't use the same brush for a long time. If you are using the same toothbrush for a few months then the brush may not clean your teeth better.
