Simply Static

While some choose to have both a 'Static site' and a 'Blog site' most find it duplication because there is a simple way to make WordPress as a static site which eliminates the need for the traditional static site.

With a WordPress blog or any blog you can have a "static page" which always presents whenever the site is accessed and then use "posts" which covers dynamic change allowing new information when each simply static new post is made. Pages are flexible too because you can create sub pages allowing the visitor to explore further into the permanent files on the blog site. All this can be managed through the admin panel and its easy to do.

With the static page it's ideal for explaining and presenting your services or products. it's the place to put testimonies and reviews and above all to make it easy for people to buy the product.

With posts it's a dynamic area where you reveal yourself and give opinions on matters connected to the site. It's a place where people get to know you and trust you. It's a place where you can build in opt-ins for reports and get an email list going. Its also the place to allow others opinions and posts to have some space and this gives spice to the site and makes it a living site.

The WordPress blog site is the place where smaller operators can use the Google AdSense for making some income through the site.While most will know all about AdSense I will explain a little for newbies. Google will issue you with an ID number and you use that to allow Advertising space on your site. Google selects the ads which are complimentary to your site and for each ad that the visitor clicks you will receive a payment. The payments most time are quite small and many feel you are better running eBay ads or Amazon ads or ClickBank ads for better returns.

Finally a WordPress blog site is a free site. While of course you still have to pay for a domain name and hosting the site itself is free with many options to use. e.g. A range of free header and footer themes are available. The WordPress blogs are widely accepted and recognized and if you explore Google you will find many of them in the top 10 of the first Google search page.
