Dwayne Johnson Gets Stuck In A Porshe On Set

Hollywood actor and prominent star Dwayne Johnson had a hilarious experience while on set. The star featured in outstanding movies like Fast and Furious 6 and Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw. Currently, he’s filming a comedy heist movie known as “Red Notice“. Dwayne who is a former WWE wrestler popularly known as The Rock has a crazily built stature. Dwayne’s daily weighting schedule made the star develop “a bit too wide” back.

Dwayne Johnson who had other awkward experiences before this incident has been strong through 2020. First, the star ripped his gates off due to a power outage at his house, then he cut his head open in a gym accident. He also contracted the coronavirus and this was tough for the star and his family. The star talked about the difficulty he and his wife faced dealing with the virus. Their Children also showed mild symptoms. Now the star has another awkward experience. However, the hilarious nature of the event makes it less tense.

The Hollywood actor was set to film an iconic chase just like his previous fast and furious movies. A recently imported Porsche was the designated car for the scene. However, Dwayne found it difficult to get into the Porsche due to his peculiarly built frame. He went on Instagram to share his hilarious experience with friends and well-wishers. The star started his story with a very hilarious caption. He said, “And guess who’s too big to fit in yet another sports car and now we have to change the entire shot sequence around”.

He further gave details about the inspiration behind the chase sequence and the effort they put in to realize their goal. “For our @netflix globe-trotting heist movie, RED NOTICE, my writer/ director @rawsonthurber wrote this INSANE chase sequence where I hop in this iconic Porsche and be the badass behind the wheel that I am. Well, after months of prep and costs, buying and shipping this car over to the states-it’s time to rehearse the big chase sequence”, John said.

The movie which features Dwayne alongside Gad Gadot and Ryan Reynolds has a chase sequence as part of the plot. This chase sequence requires Dwayne to hop in the Porsche and be the veteran behind the wheel. However, Dwayne’s attempt to get into the Porsche proved futile. His wide back stopped him from successfully getting in. The actor jokingly expressed his situation saying, “tried to shimmy into this Porsche like a big ass brown marshmallow getting shoved into a coin slot”.

The actor gave details of his conversation with Rawson and how the whole crew burst into laughter when he couldn’t properly fit into the Porsche. Rawson said, “Hey D, let’s get you in the Porsche and I’ll line up the shot. Dwayne responds,” Let’s do it” and attempts to get into the car but struggles to. Rawson laughs while Dwayne keeps trying his luck. This prompts Rawson to ask, “can you fit?”. He gets a negative response and asks once more to confirm. Dwayne responds with a No.

Thurber and the rest of the crew couldn’t hold back the spring of laughter. “After about 15 seconds of uncomfortable silence…Rawson, I and the entire crew just started laughing our asses off!!”, Johnson explained. The crew creatively handled this setback. They made sure they still got the required shots even though it was arduous. “However, in the end, we showed our ability to think quick on our feet and the team found creative ways to still get the shot”, he added.

Dwayne thought he wouldn’t be able to shoot the chase scene for Red Notice because he couldn’t fit into the Porsche. The Porsche model is a Taycan Turbo S that makes 560kW and 761 PS and moves at a speed of 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 260km/h. This Netflix movie by Dwayne Johnson will be released in the year 2021 and everyone looks forward to seeing the chase sequence which springs a lot of excitement. The creativity and hilarious experience of Dwayne attracted more attention. Everyone wants to see the top-notch creativity exhibited by the crew in the movie.
