Comparison between Guild of Wars 2 and ArcheAge

The re-released of ArcheAge is quite satisfying to attract players, but as the Guild Wars 2 players pushed them to see wondering how these two titles compare in core aspects. However, it’s quite challenging, and due to lack of time, it’s not possible to test their server to see some additional content. Approximately both titles were released at the same and were focused on the MMORPG genre. Guild of Wars 2 takes place in the fantasy world, known as Tyria, and the game revolves around the re-emergence of the Destiny’s Edge. GW2 serves as the sequel to the previous title released by ArenaNet, aiming to fix lots of things that found with no worth.

With re-imagined graphics, combat, mechanics, voiced quest dialog, and dynamic events, Guild War 2 is more epic as compared to its original title, while still following the Free-to-play business model. Similar to other hands, ArcheAge also introduces the new release with reworked graphics, combat, characters, and along with new content, and new in-game economy. ArcheAge Gold is the main currency in the game, which is worth around 3 real life dollars.. The significant change in the latest version is that the game leaves the F2P model and adapt a Paid-to-play mode, unlike the Guild of Wars 2. The game is available in three different packages, and each has a variety of subscription bonuses for players.

World Size and Environmental Diversity

Both games are set in the fantasy-themed world where the magic existed, and vicious monsters are roaming the environment to invade the NPCs. But Guild Wars 2 takes place in the massive world that is larger than ArcheAge and offering more space for players to make their actions and make decisions while navigating the world to complete challenging quests. Because of introducing the massive world, Guild Wars 2 is offering more missions, several areas, and powerful enemies than ArcheAge.

Movement and Combat Feel

Both titles use the third-person perspective for the navigation of their worlds, and the player can control the movements and actions of the character using the smooth controls. But while playing the game, you find more smooth changes in the Guild Wars 2 over ArcheAge or ArcheAge Unchained. During the combat, Guild Wars 2 lets the player perform combos to beat enemies and kill them to obtain points.

PvP and PvE Content

Both re-introduced hearts and dynamic events are incredible in Guild Wars 2, but the scripted development of events kill the joy after several attempts in each, including the movement world bosses. Both titles have PvE and PvP modes, and each is offering unique gameplay and a set of objectives. Guild of Wars 2 introduces an extensive PvP mode, pitting players against each other in a variety of matches to be the last standing person to win.

Progression System

ArcheAge has a less extensive Progression system than Guild Wars 2, letting the player play to grow more. Like other MMORPGs, players have to complete the quests to build stronger and defeat all massive bosses to become the master. You will enjoy the gapless progression in BDO but has no story and Player versus Environment satisfaction.
