Instructions for using the bridge from Connext Network (eng)

Many active users of the cryptocurrency community are faced with the need to transfer their wallet assets from one blockchain to another. For example, you have USDT on the Matic network, and you need USDT on the Avalanche network. Yes, you can send these tokens from your wallet to the exchange, then send them back from the exchange to your wallet, already in the network you need, but it takes a long time (you need to wait for confirmations at all stages of these transfers; sometimes, there are times when you need to wait several days for the funds to be credited to exchange), often expensive (because you have to pay all the associated fees for each transfer), and not always possible (because the exchange may not support the withdrawal of the token in the network that you need).
But there is another option - cross-chain bridges - decentralized applications that allow you to transfer the same asset between different blockchains.

Today I want to introduce you to one of these bridges from the Connext Network project, which makes it possible to quickly, cheaply, and most importantly, reliably exchange your tokens between different networks.
I have prepared detailed instructions on how to use this bridge and quickly transfer an asset from one blockchain to another.

Step one:

Go to the bridge website and connect your wallet in the upper right corner

Among the wallets available for use are:

Step two:

In this field, we select the network in which our tokens are located, which we want to exchange

The Connext Bridge currently supports the following networks:

And in the lower field, select the token that we want to exchange

Here is the list of currently supported tokens:

Third step:

I will “swap” USDT on the Polygon network to USDT on the Binance network, therefore, on the right side of the table, I select the BNB network and the USDT token

In this field, I enter the amount of USDT that I will “swap”

And here we see the approximate commission that you will have to pay for the “swap” (its cost is constantly changing and automatically updated)

Step four:

Click Approve USDT and confirm the transaction in our wallet

After that press Swap

We see the final information with the details of our exchange, click Confirm, and confirm the transaction in our wallet

Last step:

After you have confirmed your transaction in the wallet and unlocked the funds for transfer, you will see a sign with the status of your exchange

You need to wait for the router (liquidity provider on your desired network) to sign and unlock the funds on the sending network and “claim” your tokens

After clicking on the “claim” button, you will need to confirm the transaction in your wallet, and after that the tokens will go to your balance

In total:

Using a bridge from the Connext Network, you can “swap” your tokens between different networks - quickly, cheaply, and most importantly, securely.
