Telegram Global Search: a bot for monitoring global searches in Telegram
Bots in Telegram are no surprise to anyone - there are hundreds of them, with a wide variety of functionality. There are bots for chat moderation, there are bots for delayed posting, there are bots for channel administrators, and there are bots with useful functionality for ordinary users.
It's not easy to find something fresh and unique, that's why I was interested in a bot for taking search positions of channels and groups.

Launch the bot, click the START button and get a brief instruction on the basic commands to configure the bot.
The bot menu contains the following sections:
- Commands - displays descriptions and examples of all commands for configuring the bot;
- Pay subscription - displays the list, description and cost of tariff plans for using the bot;
- Referral programme - generates a personal referral link, shows the terms of the referral programme, statistics on referred users and commissions accrued from their payments;
- Subscription - displays the current status of the connected subscription and the remaining number of monitoring/requests;
- Support - technical support for bot users
What tasks the Telegram Global Search bot performs and who it is suitable for
The bot is designed for one-time and permanent monitoring of search positions (SP) of your channels and groups in the Telegram global search engine.
In the first case, the bot will immediately sparse results from the global search for any required query.
In the second case, the bot will check the PP by specified queries every 3 hours. In case of any change in the PP (both increase and decrease), the bot will send a notification with information on which of the publishers the changes were recorded. And once a day the bot generates a report in the form of a message with a brief summary and a csv file with detailed data.
Search in Telegram has its own peculiarities. For example, the search results are formed in accordance with the geographical location of the user creating the search query. For example, the search results will be different for users from Russia and Kazakhstan for the query ‘durov’. The user's geo is determined by the phone number to which his account is registered. At the time of writing this review, Telegram Global Search supports monitoring for the following geos: Russia, Kazakhstan and the United States. The developer plans to expand the list of regions in the future.
At any time, the /list command can be used to get a list of active monitoring and remove irrelevant ones from it.
Telegram Global Search can significantly simplify the tasks of search promotion in Telegram for owners of channel networks and marketing agencies, because with a large number of channels and groups, it can take many hours to constantly check search positions manually. And timely detection of a negative change in the search results, for example, when competitors made a mass bots recruitment, will allow to react quickly, clean the channel from bots and do not drive it into a shadow ban.
The bot works on a subscription model. There are 4 tariffs in total:
- Free Plane (free) - 10 searches per day and 5 monitors per month;
- Base (999 rubles/month) - 50 searches per day and 50 monitoring per month;
- Team (1999 rubles/month) - 200 searches per day and 150 monitoring per month;
- Enterprise (3999 rubles/month) - 500 searches per day and 450 monitors per month.
The free tariff is suitable for familiarisation with the bot's functionality or for one-off requests as needed. The higher the tariff, the more channels and requests can be monitored.
To pay for a tariff, go to the ‘Pay subscription’ menu and click the button with the name of the corresponding tariff. Payment is accepted automatically. The following payment methods are available: YouMoney, bank cards MIR, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro. Auto-renewal of subscription is not provided.
Telegram Global Search is currently the only tool I know of that automates monitoring and analysing search results in Telegram. I have a network of search channels, so during the development and testing of the bot I had the opportunity to make sure of its effectiveness.
