Will users download the PWA app since it is not in the Store?

  • PWA applications take up much less space. According to statistics, more than 50% of users delete apps due to their large size. The average size of an application in Google Play is about 32 MB.

A couple of dozens of such applications and you can forget about free space on your device, which will also affect the performance of your smartphone.

PWA applications weigh only 1-2 MB and at the same time are practically as functional as standard applications from stores. Thanks to this, users can install PWAs even with minimal free memory without overloading the device with huge installation files.

The buyer controls the weight of the PWAs on his/her own, and the application will exactly match this size.

  • Progressive web applications download much faster. Due to high volume and slow internet, more than 70% of users cancel app downloads.

In many promising Tier-3 countries for gambling, good internet is just starting to appear and is not available everywhere. Because of this, not all users are ready to download heavy applications from stores. It is much easier to install a lightweight PWA in just a few seconds and then use its full functionality.

  • Advertising platforms do not stand still and actively help users to find what they need faster. As the above-mentioned research shows, a quarter of users install an app thanks to interesting advertising. And this is not surprising - Facebook is constantly improving advertising formats and algorithms that allow it to more accurately find the target audience.

It's enough for the user to click on the PWA application advertisement once, and he won't have to waste his time on a long search for options in the store. The advertising system itself will suggest suitable applications - be it your favorite slots or roulette - and allow you to install them in a couple of clicks right after clicking on the link.

In addition, many apps from the official stores stop working if the user does not download the latest update. This is tiring, because you have to go to the store, find the app, wait for it to download and install. With PWA there is no such problem - all updates happen automatically and unnoticed by the user. This minimizes distractions and the game continues without interruption.

To increase the likelihood that a user will download an app not from the store, it is important to convince them that the app is not suspicious. To do this, the website must be hosted on an HTTPS-enabled domain. If the user gets to the site without this certificate, the browser will immediately warn him about the possible threat of data theft. In such a situation, no creativity will be able to attract traffic.
