La fouille a révélé une pérennité de l'occupation pendant la période gallo-romaine jusqu'au IVe siècle de notre ère environ.
c.1st-2nd century AD. A set of bronze scales with tapering rectangular-section bar engraved with chevrons at one end, bulbous finial at the other, three suspension
loops with free-moving hooks, sliding rectangular-section lead weight. 130 grams, 14cm wide (5 1/2").
5th-7th century AD. A group of two items related to a steelyard balance comprising: a set of bronze scales with a rectangular-section bar of two thicknesses and orientations,
conical terminal to one end, Roman numerals inscribed to one face, three integral loops suspending free-moving hooks; a squat spherical weight with integral conical loop,
pierced for suspension. See The Metropolitan Museum, accession number 2008.355ad, for similar. 163 grams total, 3.2-22.5cm (1 1/4 - 8 3/4").

Steelyards, a Roman invention, were used to weigh goods by sliding weights along the rod to balance the load suspended from hooks on the chains.
This rod is inscribed with scales for two sets of measures and the names of the owners.

A bronze steelyard balance consisting of a square sectioned rod with incised lines, three suspension rings with hooks;
to the end a rectangular suspension loop with two chains and curving hooks. 115 grams, 44cm (17").
