Zcash Balance Checker v1.1
A simple desktop tool to check Zcash (#ZEC) address balances and transaction counts.
This application reads a text file containing your Zcash addresses (t1... or t3...) optionally followed by seed phrases, private keys, derivation paths or any notes — separated by space or colon.
It uses the public NOWNodes.io API to fetch real balance and transaction history for each address.
Features:
• Real-time progress bar and log
• Saves only active addresses (balance > 0 or tx count > 0) to Success_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.txt
• Optional Telegram notifications when an active wallet is found
Is this a virus? No — you can safely run it with antivirus enabled.
It makes ONLY API requests to NOWNodes.io and Telegram (if you enable notifications). It never sends your seeds, private keys or any personal data anywhere.
How to get NOWNodes API Key (required)
1. Go to: https://nownodes.io/
2. Sign up or log in
3. Go to Dashboard → API Keys
4. Create a new API key (select Zcash / ZEC node)
5. Copy the key and paste it into the "NOWNodes API Key" field in the application
Without a valid API key the program will not be able to check balances and transactions — it will just validate address formats.
Important: Free NOWNodes plan gives 100,000 requests per month.
If you reach the limit — simply register a new account with another email and get a new key. Many users do this when checking very large lists.
Usage:
1. Prepare your .txt file. Each line should start with a Zcash address.

2. Launch ZEC Balance Checker.exe
3. Select your .txt file
4. Paste your NOWNodes API Key
5. (Optional) Add Telegram Bot Token and Chat ID for notifications
6. Click "Start"
Active addresses (with balance or transactions) are immediately appended to Success_*.txt and (if configured) sent to your Telegram.
