How Mesoamerican civilisations built their temples and pyramids
Ancient Egypt, pyramids and archaeological finds that are difficult to explain. A lot of fakes, outright manipulations, and even fakes. Endless books, popular films, and a lack of verified data. The first mythical pharaohs are known only from the legends of the Middle and New Kingdoms.
What can you do - Egyptologists need to look for answers to uncomfortable questions. And to offer such explanations so that they are not replaced by amateurs. "Alternative" researchers, of course, should not be allowed to conduct research. But this will not solve the problem of the lack of knowledge about ancient Egypt, the beginning of human civilisation.
Despite decades of fierce debate, we have not seen any dialogue between scholars. Joint conferences, symposia, and expeditions are not even planned.
Moreover, archaeologists have ready-made templates for books and articles, while amateurs do not have enough knowledge to act as legal opponents. The conflict is understandable, but the most surprising thing is that no one wants an official debate - the situation has now reached a crisis point where a separate group of researchers defends only the corporate point of view, "fitting" the few artefacts to their own theory. Not really worrying about the verification of the evidence base.
In addition, this "evidence" often turns into a barely noticeable image of real science: the latest publications on Egyptology are either too detailed and specific in their content or are openly commercial in nature, focusing on the massive involvement of the television audience: interesting facts win over archaeological facts, scientifically confirmed.
However, both of them hardly notice even more amazing structures on another continent, in the Mesoamerican region. We are talking about the historical region of North and Central America, where the unique civilisations of the Maya, Aztecs, Olmecs and other peoples emerged.
