GGShot AI Enhanced Manual
GGShot AI Enhanced is an indicator designed for trading across various financial markets, such as Crypto, Forex, and Stocks. It provides Long and Short signals and has built-in strategies for trading various assets on different timeframes. The indicator features the AI Universal Multi-Asset strategy, which allows you to trade assets not included in the list. It offers two strategies for adaptive parameters: AI Universal Multi-Asset and AI Universal Original. The original strategy frequently retrains and alters its parameters, potentially jeopardizing systematic profit and result stability. We recommend against trading using the Original strategy, even if it shows good results on the backtest panel.
Key Features
- Adaptive Take-Profits
When selecting strategies for specific trading pairs, you can enable the Optimized Take-Profits feature, which makes levels adaptive. This often improves statistics and increases the percentage of successful trades.
- Long and Short Opportunity, Show Next Entry
These functions help you determine when the indicator is ready to give a signal. The Long Opportunity shows up shortly before the signal when most of the conditions have already been met. Show Next Entry attempts to predict the next entry point, but due to multiple conditions, the actual entry point may differ. We recommend using this function for manual trading on lower timeframes, while Long and Short Opportunity is better for higher timeframes.
- Variable Trading Modes
- Standard Mode: This is the standard trading mode with an adaptive trendline, limit-based take-profits, and stop-loss.
- Advanced Mode: Adds multiple trendlines that act as Support/Resistance levels and can be used in manual trading with oscillators or other entry conditions.
- Channel Mode: Displays an adaptive channel that triggers signals when touching the upper or lower bounds. It is excellent for short-term trades within a range when signals from the main algorithm are often inactive.
- Classic Mode: Removes limit-based take-profits and stop-loss levels, focusing solely on signals, adaptive take-profits, and oscillator signals.
- Backtest Panels
In our version of the indicator, we have implemented multiple types of panels, including both original old and new versions. We have also added our vision of a panel without excess information (AI Optimized), specially designed for trading based on the AI Universal strategy. The Backtest Panel shows performance for each take-profit, including win rate, profit (calculated as if you were fully closing the position at one take-profit), Profit Factor, and Risk to Reward ratio. We have also introduced our own metrics: Profitable Score and Metrics Score. PS (Profitable Score) reflects profit consistency, where stable capital growth and minimal drawdowns are most important. The Metrics Score evaluates all displayed and hidden metrics together, leading to an overall assessment. Both of these metrics are suitable for quick strategy analysis.
It also displays Grade and Execution. Grade is a cumulative assessment based on numerous parameters and evaluates very rigorously; strategies that may seem to have decent results can receive a marginal grade. We advise you to rely on this metric when trading using the AI Universal strategy. Execution provides an immediate conclusion about the strategy, stating in simple words whether it is worthwhile to trade this strategy.
- Early Trend Signals
This feature displays early trend signals, which can often help you in trading after closing a deal (or if you missed it). If you want to use these signals as additional, it’s better to trade in the direction of the overall trend (only long signals in a long trend, only short signals in a short trend).
Oscillator
The Oscillator is displayed as green and red crosses on the chart and has several modes:
Signals are generated only in the direction of the trend. This mode is perfect if you want to enter at the best price. The oscillator will assist you in this.
This mode is great for building a position when the oscillator is aligned with the trend, and for partially closing positions if the oscillator shows a signal against the trend.
This option turns off the display of the oscillator.
Trend Line and Its Highlighting
The trend line and the highlight between it and the price can change their saturation depending on the state of the trade. The more take profits are achieved, the duller the color becomes. Additionally, the trend line becomes most transparent after the trade is closed.
Furthermore, when take profit levels are crossed, they also become less saturated, allowing you to evaluate the trade more quickly. After reaching these levels, markers appear on the chart in the form of red or green triangles.
AI Algorithm
In our version of the indicator, we have completely redesigned the parameter selection algorithm, making it fully functional and adaptive. Our algorithm optimizes settings not based on constantly changing metrics and does not alter its adjustments every 50-100 candles, as the original does. This can sometimes cause certain trades to disappear from the chart. We specifically implemented markers for the original algorithm so you can observe how frequently it adjusts its multiplier settings. The original algorithm only selects one conditional multiplier for sensitivity within a very narrow range, leading to poor performance across most cryptocurrencies. In contrast, our algorithm selects sensitivity across a wide range, localizing and pinpointing the best local settings. Subsequently, it applies various built-in filters to enhance outcomes and sets the necessary multipliers for take-profits and stop-losses. Therefore, the algorithm identifies truly optimal settings for the chosen pair and timeframe.
When using the AI algorithm, it's important to understand that it does not aim to find parameters with the highest profit or win rate. While it does consider these metrics, it does not rely solely on them. Hence, you might see backtest results with win rates below 80%, while the overall rating remains above 10+. The algorithm focuses more on the percentage of profitable trades, a metric the original indicator cannot showcase as it typically hovers around 40%. In our version, we strive to achieve a rate of 70-80% profitable trades. Often, the most profitable settings from the past become outdated quickly, which may lead the algorithm to adjust parameters several times a day, negatively impacting the stability of signals and their execution, sometimes resulting in repeated signals. Our algorithm employs an optimal assessment of metrics that, while not indicating the highest profits, have proven to be the most profitable in the long run through extensive testing.
GG RSI
Our version of GG RSI offers significantly more features than the original. Among our enhancements are: background highlighting for overbought and oversold conditions with early identification of these areas, Bull/Bear signals that appear at extremes within the overbought/oversold zones, and continuation signals that provide trend insights based on RSI movement, price action, and volatility. Finally, there are Divergence Signals; we recommend skipping a position if, after a signal, a condition arises contrary to the RSI.
Working with this indicator is intuitive and simple, as its signals are clearly categorized, and the visual style does not differ much from the familiar RSI.
