EPNS Partners with Snapshot to Deliver Notifications to Improve Community Governance
Great update! EPNS is going into collaboration with Snapshot to enable push notifications for governance proposals.
DAOs are becoming increasingly popular with more and more projects becoming one. DAOs can be thought of as an internet-business that is managed by its community. Decentralized Autonomous Organisations (DAOs) are gaining prominence in recent times.
DAO is an organization represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the organization members, and not influenced by a central government.
DAOs enable the community to decide the organization's future by submitting and voting on proposals. This ensures everyone has a say.
Snapshot on its end allows the community to propose and vote off-chain, which implies that users can use it to easily take part in governance with no need for transaction fees.
EPNS is glad to partner with Snapshot.
This collaboration will aid EPNS to create notifications on snapshot. This will be triggered for all the token holder delegates of a specific governance project.
EPNS also has plans to implement an EPIP to create a notification that will aid users to use both calls to action alongside sign their proposals directly from the notifications
EPNS collaboration with Snapshot will also give the project a herd opportunity to refine their protocol and enlarge their functionalities and core features.
About Snapshot
Snapshot is a gasless, off-chain, multi-governance client which permits its community to create and vote on proposals as well as verify results. Snapshot also enables communities on an off-chain level to run token holder votes.
No charges are taken to create a proposal and vote on Snapshot. Snapshot allows users to customize domain names, choose a voting strategy, the proposal threshold, and also add the POAP plugin to reward the community members who voted in a proposal
