Router Protocol Integrates Avalanche!

Since the Avalanche network launched it’s mainnet as at last year , one of it’s the main focuses has been interoperability to aid in attaining it’s best potential. With so much of over 500 projects already deployed on the blockchain, the expansion of Avalanche liquidity is of top priority.

Getting Integrated with Router’s newly launched XCLP testnet will aid Avalanche in achieving this goal more quickly. The testnet really aids users to swap stable coin assets between the testnets of Ethereum (Kovan), Matic/Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Huobi Chain.

These swaps doesn't take more than a minute on the testnet to complete and it will do the same on the main net as well

Though the version currently used on the XCLP testnet only permits stable coin swaps, the version to come will permit the transfer and also the swaps of other tokens too. To do this, they will employ and make use of their multi-chain AMM, the Dyfn Network on various chains.

There are some key things that make Router Protocol’s overall approach to cross-chain liquidity really stand out. The protocol offers unified gas fees which imply that swapping asset A for asset B on another chain will now be made cheaper and faster solving worries from users on how they’ll maintain gas assets of various chains. This protocol also has no fragmentation of token liquidity that many others suffer from..Users will also be able to set parameters for the trade , optimizing for both execution and price certainty.

Lastly, One of Routers most important attributes is that it enables users to delegate. Those holding ROUTE tokens can provide liquidity to the platform through validator nodes and also earn a share of the gas fees alongside which is charged by the platform for enabling cross-chain transactions.

The entire codebase of Router Protocol will be accessible to developers in the form of a plug and play module. This process of swaps and cross chain transfers has been abstracted so developers will have the freedom to fix their eyes on building products. All the heavy lifting as pertaining transfers and inter-blockchain communication will be done by Router

Interested Users who would love to participate in the XCLP testnet can access it here and use their faucet where all the tester coins they need can be gotten.

Route Protocol has plans to launch the mainnet for all the chains included currently in the XCLP testnet from the next 4–6 weeks ..The XCLP program will work also on adding liquidity mining for ROUTE alongside its partner token DYFN

Router Protocol is very happy to onboard Avalanche network to it’s cross-chain network and it’s liquidity mesh. The aim of this is to provide a frictionless experience for users who intend to enter the Avalanche eco-system from other chains

About Router Protocol

Router Protocol is building a suite of cross-chain liquidity infra primitives that aims to seamlessly provide bridging infrastructure between current and emerging Layer 1 and Layer 2 blockchain solutions.

About Avalanche

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem. Avalanche is the first decentralized smart contracts platform built for the scale of global finance, with near-instant transaction finality. Ethereum developers can quickly build on Avalanche as Solidity works out-of-the-box.
