Eris Morn Ren Faire Cosplay 2 : Electric Boogaloo 

good (eris) morn, friends and anyone else. this is part two of whatever the hell I'm doing for this

I've made significant progress in the past few days, pictures were not taken but I will take some and just explain what I've done lol

I finished the veil, which was more painting than I ever want to have to do again, and now I'm adding wire onto the sleeves of the dress to make a cape that is like the shoulder spikes Hive God Eris has. I'm using some decorative Halloween drape for the cape. Note to self: painting tulle is a pain and a half in the ass.

It ain't a cosplay party until there’s a big ass mess on the floor. Anyway, the veil is done. That was the easy part. Next was the cape. On Saturday, I went to JoAnn Fabrics, aka the Holy Land, and grabbed some Halloween drape you use to make bushes and shit look ~ creepy ~ . Also it was all 40% off, thanks to my mom for pointing out the sign because i did not see it. thanks mom.

I really don't wanna talk about how long that took. Way too long. To get it to stand like that, i unwound some old christmas ornaments i had on hand so i could use the wire to stabilize it, and that kinda worked, not in the way i had hoped but its fine.

So the big part is done, for the most part. Now I’m waiting on a corset belt and a hood from Shein to arrive (yes i know shein bad, i'm ballin on a budget here). In the event they don't arrive on time, I have another (albeit not the color i want) corset belt and I used the leftover drape to make a shawl of sorts that i'll mess with more later. I'll be painting out the emblem on Eris's chestplate on the corset belt, using Procreate on my iPad to trace the shape and making a stencil on paper. I'm using the Official Bungie Refrence Sheet™️ for Eris to get the emblem traced.

Next part, god willing, will be putting the stencil on the belt and putting the veil on the hood. Hopefully the urgent delivery button works. Thanks for reading. Love you.
