Congratulations on the advent of the Rajab holy month

Assalam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!

We congratulate you on the coming of Rajab, one of the three holy months for Muslims. Allah the Almighty has set holy months, days and nights for believers. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said about this month: "Rajab is the month of Allah, Sha'ban is my month, and Ramadan is the month of my ummah."

The blessed month of Rajab contains two significant dates. The night of the first Friday of the month of Rajab is commonly called the night of Ragaib (from January 26 to 27, 2023), it is known as the wedding night of the parents of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And also, it is on this month that the night of Isra and Miraj (the night transfer and ascension of the prophet) falls, which in 2023 falls on the night of February 17-18.

The fast, which is held in the month of Rajab, has a special meaning. Many hadises say that apart from the month of Ramadan, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasted most of all in this month. He said: "Remember, Rajab is the month of the Almighty, whoever observes fasting for at least one day in this month, Allah will be pleased with this person".
