Hitbtc basis of everything, the beginning of my story
This is just a copy of a post I wrote two years ago. I wanted to do everything according to the rules, but hitbtc criminals and acted according to concepts
Hey. To begin with, I just decided to close my account on this exchange and return all my cryptocurrency assets
7.1с - terminate your access to the Services, delete or deactivate your HitBTC Account and all related information and files in such account.7.2. In the event of termination, HitBTC will return any crypto assets stored in your HitBTC Account and not owed to HitBTC, unless HitBTC believes you have committed fraud, negligence or other misconduct.
I created a ticket and instead received a template response, in which they asked for a bunch of personal documents.
I refused because I was going to close my account. I argued my refusal referring to the rules
6.2.3. Right to erase your Personal Information
6.2.4. Right to restrict processing of your Personal Information
6.2.6. Right to object to processing of Your Personal Information,
6.2.7. Right to withdraw your consent to the usage of your Personal Information at any time
All HitBTC messages contain "we kindly ask" These are requests, not demands and orders, as in the army.
All requests rejected
Also, I caught HitBTC in breaking own rules. HitBTC forbid to me perform any actions with my cryptocurrency assets, this can be regarded as confiscation.
Thus, HitBTC break own rules point 4.3. "Nothing herein shall be deemed or construed as a willingness to a seizure of your crypto assets"
In ticket, HitBTC ignores all my arguments and questions. They are incompetent people who do not know the rules of the company (they simply do not understand them)
They also refuse to answer the question. Now you will have to respond to the public:
no documents = money confiscated?
They behave like terrorists. You send them one document, they require even more. So they blackmail you.
I'm not going to negotiate with terrorists.
They break their rules, collect an excessive amount of personal information, and I think they use it for dirty purposes. Do not trust HITBTC SCAM!
