Middle/Senior Data Engineer (based in Poland)
We are hiring a Middle/Senior Data Engineer based in Poland to join our team on an enterprise-level client project!
The software engineer will support ongoing initiatives within infrastructure automation projects. The engineer would work closely with three SWEs, a data scientist, capacity planners, and others to deliver applications mainly in big data and infrastructure domains. You will pull data from various data sources, transform it, and apply algorithms to produce results that will have a high business impact.
- Experience working as a Data Engineer with technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques
- Python
- SQL database design and experience working with hive/databricks or other data warehouses
- Expirience to build dashboards on Tableau/Grafana/Databricks
To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. SWE engineer skills include familiarity with several programming languages (Python/Go) and some statistical backgrounds. Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field is highly desirable.

- Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
- Building ETL jobs for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS, Airflow, and SQL technologies
- Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insights into key infrastructure metrics and performance
Working hours: 10 am-7 pm CET (Polish time)
