Senior Data Scientist (LATAM)

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist to assist in developing Python notebooks and writing robust Python code tailored for multimodal AI scenarios. The ideal candidate will possess strong coding discipline, a solid understanding of data science principles, and excellent English communication skills. While foundational skills are essential, we are open to teaching additional necessary competencies to the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of industry experience in data science or an equivalent quantitative discipline (like product analytics);
• Proficiency with SQL;
• Proficiency with Hex & Looker;
• Experience working with data warehouses & ETLs;
• Familiarity with statistical analysis and programming languages strongly preferred (e.g., R / Python).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data validation, analytics, and product insights initiatives;
• Partner with engineering and product teams to ensure accurate data warehousing and infrastructure setup;
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, including migrating key dashboards to Looker, to provide actionable business insights;
• Analyze topline metrics and experiment results to identify trends and formulate hypotheses explaining user behaviour changes;
• Create and manage data assets (e.g., new tables, self-serve dashboards) to empower partners to answer their own data questions;
• Enhance ETL processes and improve data warehousing infrastructure to support scalable and efficient data management.

Working conditions:
Full day PST overlap on a daily basis.

Allowed locations:Brazil, Mexico, Guatemala, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Honduras, Paraguay.
