Senior Python/Go Developer (overlap until 10:00 AM PST)

We are looking for Senior Python/Go Developer to join our team on a new and exciting project of a worldwide known client! As a Python Developer, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design, and implement automation workflows, and perform end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration. Your expertise will drive the automation of manual processes, making our infrastructure build and operations more efficient and reliable.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a variety of tools and technologies to enhance automation on unique infrastructure platforms;
  • Automate manual steps in infrastructure build and operations;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create low-level design documentation for automation workflows;
  • Audit existing software components and identify reusable elements for new automation workflows;
  • Implement new software components within the automation framework for diverse use cases;
  • Perform end-to-end testing of workflows, identify gaps, and provide fixes;
  • Use automation workflows to deploy future infrastructure components in a lab environment;
  • Engineer automation workflows to be reusable with non-standard infrastructure configurations;
  • Troubleshoot automation workflows and internal tools, conducting root cause analysis on failures;
  • Develop and gather technical improvements for automation workflows and tools based on self-analysis and team input.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development;
  • Strong knowledge of Python or Go;
  • Proficiency in Linux and Bash scripting;
  • Experience in software testing including unit testing, test automation, and API testing;
  • Working knowledge of version control systems like GIT;
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, and GitLab.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of network routing protocols (e.g., MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, NetFlow) and related network services;
  • Understanding of network management and security protocols;
  • Familiarity with network vendor platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or similar;
  • Experience as a developer for network automation and tooling projects.

Working Conditions:
Overlap until 10:00 AM PST is required. Readiness to join DRI-Shifts.
