Project:
dbGRIP is a strategic platform to serve front-office needs in Counterparty Credit Risk Management, Margining, Capital Resources and Cost optimisation. It covers all asset classes (FX, Equities, Commodities, Repo, Rates, Credit, etc.) and processes 3m+ trades, 150m+ risk sensitivities across 30k+ accounts on a daily basis.
Moreover, dbGRIP is the bank’s official Uncleared Margin calculator for OTC derivatives – this mission-critical system, on a daily basis, calculates multiple types of regulatory margin, generates margin statements for clients and produces detailed explain reports.

There are a number of key projects for 2020/2021, focusing on important regulatory (Uncleared Margining Phase 5, Recovery and Resolution Planning) and CTB deliverables as well as FIC Reengineering

Position:
The Product Owner (PO) is a member of a global dbGRIP team (~30 people), primary located in Moscow and London, who is responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or Components for the team.

Successful candidate will be working in the technology Agile Feature Team in Moscow and cooperating with stakeholders within and beyond dbGRIP team across the world

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work with senior business stakeholders to gather, analyse and document business requirements
  • Maintain requirements transparency and traceability
  • Present business requirements to technology team, define success criteria, support development, quality assurance and user acceptance testing during Agile release lifecycle
  • Work with Program Management to define roadmaps from current state to strategic end state solutions
  • Identity and communicate risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Share business knowledge with technology team, contribute to process improvements by promoting best practices, tools and techniques for requirements management and change management

Experience / Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a Product Owner/Business Functional Analyst in Agile team
  • Experience working with business stakeholders directly, ability to elicit requirements, challenge views, suggest the best solution keeping in mind broad picture
  • Ability to clearly and concisely capture functional solution design & business use cases, strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment
  • Strong SQL skills is a must, understanding of other languages such as Java or Python is beneficial
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge in financial risk management/investment banking is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, ability to interact with various stakeholders across business and IT functions
  • Fluent English
  • Strong team player with experience of working in a global team
