As Paralegal, you will support the Legal counsel and contribute to the implementation of the legal strategy of Volvo Cars.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Issue of PoA
  • Interaction with the notary officer
  • Review of contracts, additional agreements
  • Development of contract templates
  • Collecting information, documentation for litigations, maintaining a database of litigations
  • Arranging payments of state fees for filing claims, forensic examinations, enforcement proceedings
  • Drafting responses to the authorities’ requests
  • Legal translation and organization of documents translation
  • Interaction with bailiffs
  • Checks of independent workshops against IP infringements
  • Due diligence checks - local part (suppliers, contractors)
  • Interaction with the Archive company
  • Appealing fines from the traffic police, MADI, TsODD
  • Search for judicial practice
  • Legal opinions on different issues
  • Analysis of pre-trial claims, vetting responses
  • Drafting claims to the Company’s counterparties
  • Handling certain typs of court cases
  • Providing legal support for Volvo Car Drive
  • Maintaining of personal data processing activities register
  • Execution of the legal counsel’s instructions

This job may require trips to courts, bailiffs, notary officer, translators, etc., however not frequently.

Competencies/Experience/Skills Required:

  • Core competencies: Drive results, Collaboration, Build trust, Self-development.
  • Well organized, analytical person with excellent attention to details and the ability to multitask.
  • 6 month – 1 year postgraduate experience.
  • Good knowledge of the civil law;
  • Understanding of the core principles of competition, tax, customs law;
  • English - upper intermediate;
  • Desire to learn

Terms of employment:

  • Fixed term labour contract for 18 months via outsourcing agency (Kelly Services)
