Marketing Assistant / Kesarev

Job Description:

To maintain and develop marketing activity, Kesarev is looking for a Marketing Assistant (Professional Services). The candidate must be a self-starter who is flexible, dedicated, client-service oriented, resourceful, collaborative, and who is able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Marketing Assistant will work under the direction and guidance of the Business Development Director.

Responsibilities include:

• Works hand in hand with the BD Director and assist with implementation and management of short- and long-term business development and marketing strategy and initiatives;

• Assists BD Director in overseeing firm opportunities: identifying and securing external conference speaking opportunities by monitoring event calendars, GR and legal publications, competitor/partners websites and business news;

• Oversee client-facing events: assistance in management and execution of large- and small-scale events including logistics; oversee and manage client seminars, dinners and cocktail parties;

• Developing content for event and non-event related marketing materials, brochures, e-mail and other similar formats;

• Provides social media support, including development of content plan, drafting targeted posts, etc;

• Writes and edits marketing collateral as needed for handouts, the firm’s Internet, presentations, white papers, etc;

• Oversee external communications, including email marketing, press releases and publications;

• Oversee submissions annual cycle, including planning, delegation, distribution, execution; keep team apprised of deadlines, timelines, referee outreach, etc.; regularly evaluate new opportunities per practice area;

• Preparing various marketing reports; maintaining spreadsheets for tracking and management purposes;

• Working with CRM to create customized mailing lists for events and marketing campaigns. Managing CRM to track business development activities; • Assists with tracking and follow up of colleagues’ BD activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

— Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

— 1+ years of experience in a similar role is an advantage.

— General understanding of marketing of professional services.

— General understanding of marketing concepts and principles, including the ability to develop, implement, and track results of partners’ and short/long-term business development and marketing activity.

— Understanding of specifics of government relations function is a strong advantage.

— Higher education (including marketing/advertising).
