Investment Manager / Skolkovo Ventures

Skolkovo Ventures is an investment platform and a part of the Skolkovo’s entrepreneurial space with a unique innovation ecosystem accumulated over 10 years. Our business consists of 4 areas: venture investments, Investment banking, strategic technological consultancy services for corporations and VC ecosystem development.

We are looking for the Full Time Investment Manager to join our Investment department team, the business of which are capital raising or M&A advisory as well as providing technological strategy consultancy services for strategic investors and corporations.

Responsibilities:

·         Pursuing, managing and closing investment deals according to set targets

·         Independent management at all stages of the investment transaction:

o   Communicating and signing contracts with new clients

o   Preparing marketing and presentation materials (incl. teasers, investment decks, financial model, etc.)

o   Coordinating in due diligence and deal closing process (buy- / sell-side)

·         Managing investment analysts team in consulting projects for large corporations

·         New deal flow generation: research on investment targets, investors and market trends

·         Identify and analyze new investment and business opportunities

Requirements:

·         An ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in VC / PE / BIG3 consulting / investment banking / BIG4 consulting

·         Ability to quickly structure mass amount of information and communicate complex ideas effectively

·         Ability to lead projects independently: organize the process, distribute tasks within the team and manage expectations of colleagues, clients and investors

·         Strong problem solving and hypothesis testing skills

·         Strong hard-skills: building financial models from scratch, preparing presentations

·         Good understanding of the venture market, the sell-side process and various technology segments

·         Work experience with transactional documents (SHA, SPA, Term Sheet)

·         Experience of participation in closed investment deals

·         Fluent English
