Investment Banking Analyst / Lincoln International
Investment Banking Analyst position at Lincoln International: Global Middle Market Investment Bank.
Moscow office of Lincoln International, the leading international mid-market investment bank focused on M&A transactions, is seeking to hire Investment Banking Analyst. Analyst will support investment banking team on execution of a number of ongoing M&A projects.
- Research and sector coverage: in-depth analysis of markets and companies
- Financial modelling and valuation: build and update valuation models and business plans for M&A transactions, thereby supporting analyst investment banking team
- Providing support to the team on origination and execution of M&A deals. Review client information, assistance in preparation of presentation materials (Pitches, Teasers, Information Memorandums and Management Presentations), preparation of financial models, forecasts
- Assistance in preparation of comprehensive valuation analysis using different valuation techniques
- Interaction with senior team members on detailed day-to-day aspects of the transactions, providing support in negotiations and meetings with potential clients / investors (writing meeting notes, action plan / follow ups)
- General transaction support, various ad hoc tasks
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Higher education in finance / economics / business / mathematics with superior academic performance
- Ongoing education in finance (e.g. CFA program) is a strong plus
- 1-2 years of work experience in PE funds / investment banks / M&A and Valuation departments at BIG4
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Understanding IFRS, GAAP and RAS
- Fluent oral and written English is a must (including financial and business English)
- Ability to maintain high standard of work while working on multiple projects and long hours
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
- High efficiency and ability to handle stress
