Ancient Germans and establishment of Barbarian Kingdoms

Hi Guys, Today in our dish list is the most well known german cousine, and Im not talking about the food, perhaps I will. but that's not the story which we are going to decipher.
It all starts with the disruption of Roman Empire in 476 by Barbarians. But, who are they?,
Barbarians (predominantly germans) are the tribe who lived on the north side of Roman Empire. In fact, the reason why Romans called them as Barbarians is that they didnt speak in the language of Romans.

In the end of 4th century during the great emigration proccess of people which is started due to intrusion of nomadic tribes of Hun, germans altered their politics of raiding lands of West Roman Empire to conquest it

By that time, the Roman Empire had greatly weakened and was no longer able to repel their onslaught. Barbarians destroyed municipal infastructures of many cities: including cultural heritage, ports, ceaced trading

Early, in the 6th century various German tribes settled throughout the Western Roman Empire. In the conquered territories, the Germans founded a number of their barbarian kingdoms.
One of these barbarian states was the Frankish Kingdom, which arose around the year 500.

The first king of the Franks was the leader Clovis, who was known for his cruelty. He became the founder of the 1st Frankish dynasty -which became known as the Merovingian dynasty.

The Frankish state reached its highest heyday under King Charlemagne, who was, according to the manuscripts of historical relics from the Carolingian dynasty. Leading an active aggressive policy, he turned his kingdom into a huge empire. In 800, Charlemagne was crowned by the Pope and received the title of emperor, and his kingdom became known as the Frankish Empire
However, the empire was fragile already in 843, it was divided between his descendants into 3 parts, which later became the basis of such modern European states as France, Germany and Italy.
