IELTS Speaking Cue Card Question – Describe a Time You Saw Children Behave Badly in Public
You should say
- Where was it?
- What were the children doing?
- How others reacted to it?
- And explain how you felt about it?
Introduction
Children below five years old most of the time stay at home so they do not know how to behave with people outside their home. This is acceptable and understandable as well but many times we get to see kids more than seven or eight years old, misbehaving with others. In this type of situation, parents get embarrassed. I witnessed a similar kind of situation in April, at an anniversary party.
Where it Was?
I went to my cousin’s sister’s anniversary party, Delhi. All my other cousins were also there. Many children were also present. Some of those children’s parents were my cousin’s family friend, some were even their neighbours.
What the Children were Doing?
The function was organised in a hall but there was a well-decorated playground attached to the hall. Most of the children were playing there, some were accompanied by their parents.
Everyone was well dressed and happy. Suddenly we heard some noises and all our eyes went toward the playground. Some kids were fighting with each other badly.
How Others Reacted to It?
Everyone was shocked and tried to know the reason behind the fight. The children were fighting badly and were also constantly speaking to the elders using rude tone. Their parents also tried to stop them but the kids were violent making the parent feel insulted.
Later it was known that one of those kids used slang and the other two tried to stop him but instead of feeling guilty or apologizing, that kiss went on using more slangs and pushed one of the other kids.
This is the reason why the fight began.
