What is engineering survey?

Having planned a certain construction, it is necessary to have data on geological, geodetic and environmental conditions. This information is taken into account when drawing up the project. To obtain such information, it is necessary to conduct engineering surveys at the pre-design stage.

Topographic survey is a mandatory study, implying special measurements of heights, distances and angles of the site. After carrying out the work, geodesists receive data on the relief, the location of buildings and structures, as well as green spaces in the area. In our work we use a theodolite, laser tape measure, tacheometer and level. If it is necessary to carry out research on large territories, a quadrocopter is used, with the help of which we quickly and efficiently obtain the necessary geodetic data. The volume of research, as well as the method of their implementation, is calculated by our specialists individually.

Information, which helps to obtain a topographic survey of a land plot, is used to design a cartographic scheme of the area. It displays all the features of the territory. It should be borne in mind that such a plan cannot be dispensed with not only when designing, but also when performing geology.

During preparation, we study the terms of reference and stock documents. Then the plan and estimate are calculated. The survey price must be agreed with the developer.

The following works are typical for the field stage:

- drilling geological wells;

- sampling;

- laboratory research;

- establishment of a hydrological regime;

- geophysical surveys.

At the final, office stage, the information received is checked and a technical conclusion is drawn up, which contains forecasts and expert recommendations regarding the choice of the basis.
