[EN][IMBA] ALGO INDICATOR USER MANUAL
In this article, I will talk about the features of this indicator, show you how to use it and how to set it up correctly and quickly.
Features:
- Buy/sell indicator
- Shows real profit based on the risk setting per trade (it doesn’t matter to you what leverage, how many% stop, it’s important for you that when you set a stop loss, the loss will be no more than this value)
- Above / below each position there is a "label" with profit / loss to the deposit for this signal
- Very flexible, can be configured for any instrument, works equally effectively with both cryptocurrency and forex
- Fixed profit / loss for each position is conveniently filled with color, also if the trade is not closed when the trend changes, it shows the exit point with a white line
- A convenient dashboard that shows the profit for all signals, the current parameters of the strategy, the date of the first signal, the maximum series of profit / loss in a row, win rate
Settings:
- Strategy - responsible for strategy settings
- Sensitive - is responsible for the sensitivity settings, in other words: the lower the sensitivity, the more signals are given
- Position - position settings, show/hide positions on the chart, and "fill the positions" setting responsible for filling reached takes/stops with color
- Take profits - take profit settings block, on the left is the % of the price movement that the price needs to overcome from the entry point in order to fix part of the position. On the right, which part of the position to fix on this take profit (for correct calculations, it is necessary that in the left block, when added, it turns out 100%)
- Stoploss - stop loss settings, if the checkbox next to "Fixed stoploss %" is active - this means that the stop loss will be considered fixed from the entry point in % of the price movement. If the checkbox is not selected, then the stop loss will be calculated automatically, but you can also reduce or increase it further.
- RSI - RSI settings, everything should be clear here, I personally don't use it. Added just to be. Will be displayed in the form of crosses, on bars suitable for the parameters.
- Below there are also settings for the info panel, show/hide the info panel and the "developer mode" setting, if the checkbox is active, then all events occurring with positions will be shown (activation of stop loss / take profit / closing a position due to a change in trend)
Two use cases:
- Use preset settings for instruments (coins). In this case, you simply go to the settings and choose a strategy that matches the symbol and timeframe on the chart.
- Manual strategy setting. More on this below.
Manual strategy setting:
- Select the "MANUAL" strategy in the strategy settings
- First of all, we need to set sensitive to the highest possible winrate
- Debugging stoploss, in 99% of cases I recommend using a fixed stop loss, here we pay attention to profit, we find the golden mean between profit and winrate
- Debugging take profits, in 99% of cases the most profitable % of fixing takes will be 40/30/20/10. But the targets themselves already need to be adjusted manually, focusing on the win rate and profit, again, it is important to find a middle ground.
Recommendations for manually setting the strategy:
Everything else is purely individual for each coin. You can focus on existing strategies that were previously configured by me.
