I. WHO WE ARE
The International Movement "Safely Stand" (IM "Safely Stand") is an independent, youth-led human rights, academic, and art-research organization.
Operating at the intersection of interdisciplinary humanities, cultural mediation, and legal advocacy, we focus on safeguarding the agency and personal boundaries of young people. Our goal is to transform youth civic and creative initiatives from a state of vulnerability into an institutionally recognized, professional, and self-sustained force.
II. OUR MISSION
The contemporary world demands that young individuals think critically and act independently, yet it frequently deprives them of a safe environment for authentic expression.
We build an ecosystem where personal autonomy, mental integrity, aesthetic choices, and freedom of speech are defended safely: free from systemic pressure, violence, or institutional discrimination. We achieve this through legal literacy, neutral mediation, scholarly analysis, and evidence-based art research.
III. CORE PILLARS
Every young person possesses the inherent right to formulate independent opinions, embrace subcultures, and make aesthetic or personal life choices without fear of reprisal, ostracism, or institutional bias.
2. Art & Research as Methodology
We view visual arts, philology, sound performance, and humanistic inquiry not merely as forms of creative expression, but as rigorous, evidence-based methods for investigating social conflict and advocating for human rights.
3. Neutral & Unbiased Mediation
We act as a neutral third party in interpersonal, academic, and socio-cultural disputes, providing structured, non-violent mediation and conflict-resolution mechanisms.
4. Global Dialogue & Multilingualism
Youth rights and agency transcend national borders. We foster an international network of researchers, translators, and advocates, linking regional grassroots initiatives with global institutions.
IV. WORK STREAMS
- Rights & Mediation Support: Providing legal literacy guidance, conflict resolution, and mediation for young people facing institutional or interpersonal friction.
- Academic & Philological Research: Investigating the linguistic codes, social dynamics, and cultural frameworks of youth autonomy and self-expression.
- Art Platform & Sound Performance: Facilitating research-driven artistic projects, exhibitions, soundscapes, and performances addressing agency and systemic challenges.
- Regional Representation: Expanding a decentralized global network of local coordinators, researchers, and community mediators.
