Capitalization β market capitalization, often shortened to "market cap," is the current market value of a cryptocurrency network. It is calculated by multiplying the number of circulating crypto-assets by the price of the corresponding asset.
Claiming β the process of receiving tokens into your crypto wallet.

Decentralization β the absence of a central point of control and a single point of failure.
Dow Jones Index β the oldest existing American market index. It was created by Charles Dow, editor of "The Wall Street Journal" and founder of Dow Jones & Company, to track the development of the American stock markets. The index was first published on May 26, 1896.
DYOR (Do Your Own Research) β this means you should not take information from one source at face value. Before investing money in a specific project, make sure you have conducted proper due diligence.

Emission β the total number of digital coins issued. Unlike fiat, which has no limits, most cryptocurrencies have a strictly limited number of coins that will be issued over their lifetime.

Fiat (fiat money) β the currency of a country issued only by the Central Bank. The value of fiat money is not tied to the price of silver, gold, or its production costs. Its value is based solely on trust in the state and its authority on the international stage.
Fibonacci Levels β a technical analysis tool used by traders to identify potential price levels. Fibonacci levels are applied to price movements and are based on the Fibonacci sequence.

Gap β a term in technical analysis that refers to the phenomenon where the opening price of a candle significantly differs from the closing price of the previous candle.

Hackathon β a forum for developers where specialists from different areas of software development (programmers, designers, managers) work together to find new solutions.
Halving β the programmed reduction in the emission of cryptocurrency by decreasing the number of new coins mined per block. Bitcoin halving occurs every 210,000 blocks, approximately every four years. Each time, the reward for a mined block is halved.
Hardcap β the maximum fundraising limit set by a project.
Hash β a non-coded original piece of information.
Hashrate β the measure of computational power used in mining (the extraction) of cryptocurrency. Simply put, it is the speed of mining, measured in h/s (hash per second), and the higher this figure, the more blocks will be generated over a specific period. Derived units include kh/s (kilohash), mh/s (megahash), gs/s (gigahash), etc.

Imported Account β an account that is imported using a private key and was not created with the same Seed phrase as your wallet.

Rollups β the core technology for layer 2 protocols for Ethereum. Many rollup solutions use a zero-disclosure proof-of-concept method. Such technologies are grouped in a group called ZK-Rollups.
The use of rollups allows for high transaction privacy and scalability of the Ethereum core network: multiple transactions are combined into a single packet that is validated in the Layer 1 blockchain.
RWA [Real World Assets] β real assets that are tokenized for use on the blockchain.
Examples of RWA: Real estate, securities, gold, art, and any physical goods. Tokenizing such assets allows them to be transferred, traded, and managed digitally on the blockchain.

Squeeze β a rapid rise or fall in price.
Softcap β the minimum fundraising goal for an ICO/IEO/IDO. If this threshold is not met, the project is canceled.
Staking β the process of holding funds in a cryptocurrency wallet to support blockchain operations.
Stop-loss β a tool used in exchanges, a buy/sell order that is executed when the asset reaches a specified price. The idea is to minimize losses, but if set too close to the opening price, it may trigger due to market noise.

Tokenomics β the set of all aspects related to a project's token, like a business plan for the token (details of issuance, distribution, usage, and management):
Transaction (tx) β the process of storing data on the blockchain during which crypto-assets are transferred. Bitcoin transactions are cryptographically secured exchanges of assets in the BTC blockchain between network participants.
TVL (Total Value Locked) β a metric that measures the total value of assets locked in a specific DeFi protocol.

Whitepaper β a document describing the main features and technical characteristics of a specific cryptocurrency or blockchain project.
